The article is devoted to diagnosis of acute kidney injury (AKI) in patients with Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS). It is shown the criteria RIFLE and AKIN. It helps to compare they. More than 90 % of patients with HFRS have AKI. Alterations in urine output is smaller sensitive marker of renal dysfunction in HFRS compared with creatinine criteria.

Key words: acute kidney injury, AKIN criteria, Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, RIFLE criteria.
