CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE INFLUENCE ON PROGNOSIS AND READMISSION COST IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEART FAILURE

Low kidney function negative influence on prognosis of chronic heart failure (CHF). The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of chronic kidney disease (CKD) on the prognosis, the duration of hospitalizations, and direct expenses for the hospital stay in patients with CHF. 308 patients with CHF were studied and follow-up was 60 months. CKD in patients with chronic heart failure leads to significant higher mortality from all reasons, increase numbers of hospitalizations, duration and cost of hospitalizations for all reasons and due for the worse of cardiovascular diseases.

ХРОНИЧЕСКАЯ БОЛЕЗНЬ ПОЧЕК ВЛИЯЕТ НА ПРОГНОЗ И СТОИМОСТЬ ГОСПИТАЛЬНОГО ЛЕЧЕНИЯ БОЛЬНЫХ С ХРОНИЧЕСКОЙ СЕРДЕЧНОЙ НЕДОСТАТОЧНОСТЬЮ

Снижение функции почек усугубляет тяжесть течения хронической сердечной недостаточности (ХСН). Целью исследования явилось определение влияния хронической болезни почек (ХБП) на прогноз, а также частоту, длительность госпитализаций и прямые медицинские затраты на стационарную помощь больным ХСН. В исследование было включено 308 больных с ХСН, срок наблюдения составил 60 месяцев. Установлено, что наличие у больных с ХСН хронической болезни почек ведет к значительному увеличению смертности от всех причин, повышает число госпитализаций, длительность и стоимость госпитализаций по всем причинам и в связи с обострением сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний.
